Lime Jello with Pears, also known as Seafoam Salad

This recipe came from my Aunt Vi. It serves 6-8, and makes about 6 cups.


28-30 oz pears, canned
3 oz pkg lime jello
8 oz cream cheese
8 oz Cool Whip


Drain 28-30 oz pears, reserving juice. Heat one cup of juice to boiling. Add to 3 oz package of lime jello.

Cream 8 oz cream cheese in mixer until creamy. Add cut-up pears and beat.

Add cooled jello and 8 oz container of Cool Whip. Mix and pour into bowl. Refrigerate.
